Pyramid Tattoo

I got a double helix back in August and I was very disappointed with the service. Right off the bat, my piercer wasn't very friendly and had very dry answers to my questions. The paper they gave me with cleaning instructions didn't seem very reliably and almost all of the information I found online contradicted it. About a week after I got my piercings, they got pretty infected and it took almost three hours to get the jewelry out because of how tightly screwed on and confusing the jewelry was. The experience left me extremely disappointed and honestly traumatized. Though I cannot with confidence blame the infection on the piercer, I can't say with confidence that it WASN'T the piercer, which is why I would not go back, nor recommend this place to anyone else. I think you should feel you can trust the person who is giving you piercings which is where I made a mistake.

Called in to see if they’d be able to get my son’s ears pierced and told me they did walk ins! I took him down and they were so sweet and made him feel so confident. They let him pick his jewelry and had his ears pierced so quickly that my boy didn’t even flinch. They were friendly, professional, sanitary, and timely! I would refer anybody to their business. Thank you so much!!

Got my nostril pierced here back in February. The piercer seemed nice and knowledgeable about everything. I did let her know that I have been known to faint (I've never fainted for a piercing before, but I have been known to get woozy after a piercing). The chair didn't recline, it was more like a raised bistro stool. The piercer got me a cup of water and put it on the floor in case I needed it. She pierced me and put in the jewelry. Then she turned her back. That's when I passed out. I fell forward, face first, into the floor and broke my nose and got a concussion. When I woke up, I was surrounded by tattoo artists and the piercer. They were all very nice and helpful. I was told I should go to the Urgent Care. I was completely in shock. I tried to clean up the blood, but my nose and chin were busted, and blood was all down my face, hair, shoulders, and hands. I paid and ripped, and then left. Honestly, I'm the most upset that precautions weren't taken when I was up front about fainting, and even more that the shop never followed up with me afterwards. You'd think after a huge incident like that that they would care a little more.

If I could give 0 stars on this place I would the lady who pierced my ear was not very nice at all. I got my conch and industrial bar done and when she did my conch a few hours after I felt behind my ear and felt a big lump. I asked my co worker if it’s bruised or anything behind my ear and she obviously said yes went to med express. I got told that she got me with the needle. The bruising got worse the next day and went all the way down to my earlobe I do not recommend this place for piercings

I’m disappointed with the new service of this place, it used to be my go-to. I got a septum redone a couple of days ago here. She just got back from lunch, barely talked to me, treated me like I was a nuisance. She didn’t measure the placement of the piercing and pierced it very incorrectly, I bled a lot and cried. VERY different experience a few years ago when Cynthia and Carly were there, I had my nostril and septum pierced almost painlessly by Cynthia. I unfortunately don’t recommend this place for piercings any more. I didn’t want to go back and get it removed out of fear they would hurt me again. I got it removed at Southside Tattoo, even they said it was done horribly.

The staff is alright, really didn't mingle with any of the tattoo artist. I wasn't going in for one, so they didn't acknowledge. The lady at the desk, just kinda gave off a vibe like she didn't wanna be there. But the lady who did my piercings was amazong. She was so friendly and so informative. And she made me laugh. So that's always a plus for me. She's there Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from noon to 8, and she's not very pricey either. Definitely hit her up if your looking for a piercing.
